Two Sweet, Two Cute, and Two Charming

That about says it all for these two. I made this for my mother-in-law. It's not was I was originally going to make her, but I ordered the wrong size of something and now have to re-order. I'm hoping this holds her over. LOL I wanted to keep it relatively simple and flat so that she can frame it. The dimensions are 8x8.

Feeling Springish

Well I guess being in Florida, feeling springish isn't so hard to believe. But I found these pictures of my nephew and niece from a couple of years ago, and couldn't help but be inspired to make a scrapbook page. It was perfect because I needed a page to demonstrate at an SU party as well. These kids are just way too photogenic! I love the way her jacket matches the Baja Breeze card stock and the slide matches the Barely Banana card stock perfectly. The Good Friends stamp set was a perfect fit for the sunny day. The layout is so versatile and looks great with a single 5x7 also. Don't forget, you can click on the images to view them larger. Thanks for looking, comments are always appreciated!

My New Favorite

My Big Shot that is! It's finally here and those of you that have it, will understand my excitemet. If you don't have it...you need to get it! ;o) Seriously, I can not believe I held out for so long. I just couldn't wait to christen it. So even though I needed to prep for my workshop that night, Saturday morning I opened it and started die cutting away! And it really was just the thing I needed to start the creative juices flowing. Here is my first creation with it. I almost didn't get a chance to photograph it, as my friend tried to steal it Saturday night. She agreed to let me keep it and photograph it if I promised to bring it to work Monday for her. LOL The Flock Together Designer Series paper is breathtaking in person. Try not to look too closely at my "free-hand" paper piercing.

The Best Gift Card Holders Ever!

At least I think so. I got the idea and directions from the incredibly talented Kimberly VanDiepen. She really is amazing and I just LOVE this one. I am making these for a workshop tomorrow for my WONDERFUL friend Kerrianne. I will change the design, as this one uses retired designer paper, but I will be sure to post the new one once I create it. I just got in a huge delivery from Stampin' Up!, just a little excited about it in case you can't tell. My Big Shot is finally here! I should have lots to post in the coming days. So enough talking about it, here it is:

Where does time go?

It's been a busy week, but I still wanted to post something. So here are some invitations that I made for my son's birthday party last month. I used the Party Hearty stamp set and let me just say that I really like this one. I will try to get back tomorrow to upload another one. I've made something that I just LOVE for my hostess party this Saturday. Don't forget to leave comments so I know you've stopped by.

Life is a Bowl of Cherries

Or not. LOL I just needed something to make me smile. Murphy's Law strikes yet again. The day after signing our contract and putting down a 75% deposit on our kitchen remodel, our AC unit died. Now to some of you, March may not be a bad month to have this happen...but here in Florida...not good! Although, I guess it could be worse, it could be August. :) Well here is a little something that in spite of the circumstances, makes me smile. (Although in hind sight, I wish I had made the strip of designer paper at the bottom a little taller.) But I LOVE the way the Tart n' Tangy stamp set embosses.

More Eastern Blooms

I told you I loved this set. It's so versatile! I've used some great summer/fall colors, and though it's a bit early for it, I couldn't help but love it. Instead of doing the usual "pop"ing of an image I decided to secure the middle flower with a brad and gently curl the edges of the petals up using my fingers. LOVE IT! Hope you enjoy.

Je T'aime Aussi

As I was browsing the Stampin' Up! demonstrator's site I came across this wonderful layout! I made a few small changes and omisssions just to make it my own, but I really like how it turned out. I really like this year's In Colors and will be so sad to see them go. :( I have a very special friend in mind for this card, the Sweet Bella series is right up her alley.

Eastern Blooms

OK, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this set, Stampin' Up! Eastern Blooms (111626). I didn't think I would be that crazy about it, but it was love at first stamp. I used it here to create my own paper by stamping on Whisper White cardstock in Stampin' Up! Regal Rose, So Saffron, and Soft Sky Classic Stampin' Pad. The colors are so fun! I "popped" the center flower using Stampin' Dimensionals, and after I was all finished I decided it still needed a little something, so I added some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter to the center of the flower. :)

Home Decor

So here is a little treat to start you off. I just love how this turned out, and the best part of all...it took all of 10 minutes to make! Actually me and my fabulous friend Kerrianne were stamping one night and as we were cleaning up, I spied this frame that I had scored at Michael's on sale. Well, the creative juices were flowing and the next thing you know, I was pulling out the Stampin' Up! Inspired By Nature stamp set.

You can't beat that! I think this will look great in a series of four, using a different color/pattern from the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. I just love that they are double sided and all coordinate.
